About Me

About me:

My name is Manu Phatak. I am currently a Senior in the Finance and Management Information Systems (MIS) program at Temple University, Fox School of Business–working towards a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA). On campus, I serve as the Vice-President of a very prestigious organization–Fox School of Business College Council of Presidents.

In my time as a student I have become very passionate of my MIS studies. I have an affinity for solving problems and making things work; and I find the MIS career paths and coursework really feed into this. The more complex, the more challenging, the bigger the puzzle is to solve, the better. After picking up just an elementary understanding of databases and MIS concepts, I was able to work my way into J.P. Morgan Chase’s Investment Bank (JPMC IB) taking on the business’ real challenges of integrating processes and moving information through complex systems. This experience was awakening in many ways and prompted me to keep going in the direction of MIS.
